VI — ENTRY LEVEL PROGRAM (ELP)

circle-info

The Entry Level Program (ELP) is the base yield program on Haystack. Its purpose is simple: your available balance should keep working instead of sitting idle.

Whenever you have funds that are not allocated to a specific product, the ELP ensures they continue earning yield until you decide your next move.

1. What the ELP Does

  • Holds your unallocated balance

  • Automatically earns yield while you decide which program to subscribe to

  • Allows manual top-ups

  • Allows manual withdrawals

Think of it as your “default parking place” for yield generation.

2. ELP Yield

Its rate can change at any time based on the underlying conditions of the program. Whenever the ELP yield is updated, the new rate applies automatically to your current ELP balance.

The ELP is designed as a flexible, variable-yield solution for idle funds — not a fixed-rate product.

3. How Funds Enter the ELP

There are three ways your balance can move into the Entry Level Program:

Option 1 — Automatic Allocation After Deposit

When you deposit funds into your Haystack account:

  1. The deposit appears in your internal balance.

  2. The full amount is automatically allocated to the ELP.

This removes idle time between deposit and subscription.

Option 2 — Manual Top-Up

You can manually add more funds to the ELP at any time.

Steps:

  1. Enter the amount in the Transaction Amount field.

  2. Make sure your internal balance is sufficient.

  3. Select Top-up.

Option 3 — Daily Auto-Subscription of Idle Funds

Every day at 00:00 UTC, Haystack checks for any unused balance in your wallet. If you have idle funds, they are automatically subscribed into the ELP.

This ensures your balance continues earning even if you forget to take action.

4. Withdrawing from the ELP

You may withdraw funds from the ELP at any time if you want to:

  • subscribe to another product

  • reshuffle your allocations

  • reduce your overall balance

Steps:

  1. Enter the amount you want to withdraw in the Transaction Amount field.

  2. Make sure your ELP balance is sufficient.

  3. Select Withdraw.

The amount is moved into your internal balance and becomes available for new subscriptions or withdrawal requests.

These funds are now ready to be used for:

  • subscriptions

  • other allocations

  • withdrawals

5. Tracking Your ELP Activity

In your Portfolio Dashboard, the ELP appears like any other program:

You can see:

  • your allocated amount

  • daily yield accrual (if applicable)

  • activity history

  • contribution from manual top-ups and auto-subscriptions
