III — ACCOUNT & AUTHENTICATION
This section covers everything related to signing in, managing access to your account, and understanding the basic security features available on Haystack.
1. Sign Up
You can create your Haystack account using only your email address.
Steps
Enter your email on the sign-up page.
Check your inbox and enter the 6-digit verification code.
Create your password.
Fill in the basic information form and continue.
Your account is immediately active.
2. Sign In
To access your dashboard:
Enter your registered email address.
Enter your password.
Select Sign In.
If you have Two-Factor Authentication enabled, you’ll be asked to complete the additional verification step.
3. Forgot Password
If you lose access to your password, you can reset it.
Steps
Select Forgot Password on the sign-in page.
Confirm that you want to reset your password.
Check your email for the 6-digit verification code.
Enter the code.
Create a new password and confirm it.
Return to the sign-in page and log in.
Your password is immediately updated.
4. Session Security
Haystack uses standard session protections to keep your account secure.
If you stay inactive for a while, you may be logged out automatically.
Logging in from a new device may require additional verification.
Multiple failed login attempts may trigger temporary protection checks.
These measures help ensure your account stays safe.
5. Supported Browsers & Devices
Haystack works best on:
Chrome (latest version)
Firefox (latest version)
Safari (latest version)
Edge (latest version)
Mobile browsers are supported, although some layouts may display differently depending on screen size.
